Bruce the Badger in North Yorkshire

Phew! What a busy few weeks racing about the countryside! Portsmouth this week … North Yorkshire last week. Here are the highlights of my stay up north. The humans took me to some interesting places …!

Our journey on the North York Moors Railway was amazing with our journey’s end at Whitby Abbey. I even had refreshments! I re-lived the Tour de France, went caving amongst the limestone stalagmites and stalagtites before ending up in York by the fastest steam engine and trying my paw at a bit of archaeology. That’s me in a Victorian toilet! Looking forward to all our students graduating next week.

  1. The Mallard used to have special excursions about 30 years ago and would come through Wycombe. We used to live behind the station so we got a grand stand view on such occasions. I think more badgers should be given access to these things and so congratulate you on your endeavours.
